Ahhhhh absolutely excited for our sweet couple Jillian and Matt. To have a wedding featured in a bridal magazine is any photographer's dream. We can't thank Rebecca Crumley at The Knot Chicago enough for featuring this beautiful wedding in the Spring/Summer 2015 edition. A huge thank you to the gorgeous and talented Susan Cordogan at Big City Bride for introducing us to this family! Big hugs girlie!

This wedding.... ohhhh my, melt my heart! We were introduced to Jillian and Matt through their event planner, Susan Cordogan of Big City Bride . If you haven't met Susan, she's a hoot! You will love her; she's sweet, she's beautiful and so talented. She collaborated with the super creative, Rishi Patel, of HMR Designs to bring this wedding to life! And wow.... did they ever!

Jillian and Matt first met in high school at a festival in downtown Geneva. However, their love story began a decade later, when one summer day, Jillian was driving along the river, windows down, the song "tangerine" blaring to the beat when she noticed a cute guy jogging, and it happened to be Matt. She sent him a text and he invited her out on a date. She recalls it being the best date she had ever been on. Matt didn't wait long to ask his love to marry him. We posted their engagement session last summer, you can check tthat out here.

They decided to get married on her father's property which made a gorgeous backdrop for their wedding. Jillian chose a beautiful Lazaro gown by JLM Couture, with a lace bodice and 13 layers of buttercup chiffon and just the right about of lace towards the bottom. Her veil was cathedral length and has a sweet delicate edge... so pretty! She wore Jimmy Choo shoes and diamond earrings that her groom gave to her, along with a borrowed bracelet from a family friend. Her hair, half up in a twist that connected and long waves, was styled by Ashley Young. Jillian was inspired by Khaleesi's hair from Game of Thrones. I'd say she looked even better! Her bridesmaids all wore soft plum dresses by BHLDN which were gorgeous! Matt and his boys all had a James Bond look going on as they all wore black tuxes from GQ Formalwear.

Jillian and Matt said "I do" at St. John Neumann in a full Catholic mass. Then headed back on a Flying Lady trolley to celebrate thier love with friends and family. Guests entered the wedding through a lounge where everyone had their photo taken on a swanky white sofa. During cocktail hour, signature drinks were served, named after their two dogs Bella and Jack. Guests enjoyed a raw bar, a craft beer station, Sonoma wines, cheeses, and a Mediterranean bar. Toasts were made, and everyone danced to The Chicago Players who rocked the night away.

We couldn't have photographed this wedding so well without the help of our team, Christine Bentley, and Diego Ivan Martirena of Maplewood Photogrpaphy. Thank you so much for your love and support!

We had the honor to photography Danielle and Jeremy's wedding, and now their sweet little Brooklyn. Also Danielle's sister, Ashley's wedding... and she has baby Emma who is adorable. These two little cousins will grow up like sisters!

Chad Carroll is an Executive Vice President at The Chad Carroll Group, and Jen Stone is a spokesperson and video reporter for Delray Beach Marketplace and a freelance entertainment host, reporter, and producer.

"We were set up through a mutual family friend at an Ohio State football party," Jen told People about their road to married life. "Chad asked me out through Facebook, saying he had 'work to do' in Boca Raton, where I was living at the time. Without any real work to do up there, he then slept at his grandparents' house for the next three days in a row so we could be together. We pretty much haven't separated since."

I've been dying to get this blog post done because Ashley and Michael's wedding was beyond amazing. I had the hardest time narrowing down the photos! What a wedding this was at The Ritz-Carlton Chicago. Ashley and her mom, Debbie, hired the talented Marina Birch of Birch Design Studio who executed this wedding so effortlessly! Together with the brilliant team at Kehoe Designs, this wedding was beautifully decorated with an abundance of gorgeous flowers.

Ashley looked stunning in her Katarina gown by Vera Wang and her Italian made Cerise shoes by Aruna Seth embellished with Swarovski crystals. A little bling is always a good thing! The Gentlemen of Leisure rocked the house and everyone danced the night away!

We can't thank Jenn Gaudrau and Diego Ivan Martirena of Maplewood Photogrpaphy for shooting this amazing wedding with Bob and working so hard for us... thank you!!! And Marina Birch who introduced us to this beautiful family, thank you!

Ashley and Greg had been dating for 5 years before he popped the question in Miami a few nights before they boarded the Top Chef Cruise for her birthday! So romantic, right? He knew how obsessed she was with the TV show Top Chef so he bought tickets to sail away with them. They were getting ready for dinner in Miami and Greg gave Ashley a card. She could barley finish reading the card before bursting in tears! That's when she looked up and saw Greg on one knee holding the most perfect ring she'd ever seen. To this day, Ashley says she's not even sure if she said "yes, I'll marry you", she was too happy to speak! Of course as she was calling her parents to let them in on the good news, the doorbell rang and she answered it to find her beautiful mom and dad there to her surprise. She feel to her knees and buried her head into her hands "Is this really happening?" she recalls. What a perfectly beautiful night! And I have to say, kudos to Greg, for a perfect proposal and perfect evening. But it doesn't end there, on no... it gets better. After celebrating the night away, Ashley realized she was wearing her new gorgeous diamond ring but not the vintage ring that she wears everyday from her mom. She panicked and searched high and low, it was gone. But her mom told her not to worry, to ask Gramma, and it will show up. And surely she was right, the antique ring showed up in Greg's pocket. A perfect ending to an unforgettable evening!

As sweet as that story is, this amazing couple is even sweeter! I'm so excited to share their wedding on our blog. After Ashley and her mom, planned for a year and a half on all the yummy details, they hired Nicki Eisenstein from BCR Events, to step in the day of their wedding and bring all the magic together. We worked with an incredible team to bring Ashley and Greg's dream wedding to life. Their wedding took place at the beautiful Ritz-Carlton Chicago. Burt Rubenstein and his team from HMR Designs pulled it all together using gorgeous roses, hydrangea, and amaryllis flowers, candelabras, you name it, perfection! The little crystal place card frames added a special touch, not to mention how incredible Ken Arlen Orchestra was all day and night! Ashely looked gorgeous in her white Vera Wang | Katarina Gown and Greg in his black Armani tuxedo. The bridesmaids wore beautiful champagne colored long blouson Adrianna Papell dresses. And those flower girls and ring bearers... oh so cute!

Ashley and Greg, we wish you a lifetime of happiness together. We look forward to staying in touch watching life unfold for you both! We are honored to have been part of your wedding, thank you for trusting us! I very special thank you to our second shooter, Diego Ivan Martirena of Maplewood Photography who did an amazing job helping Bob document this beautiful wedding.

Their story is super cute... and not love at first sight says Ashley, far from it as Greg was pursuing one of her friends. They met at a local Chicago bar, and she hit it off with his roommate. It wasn't until a few years later when she was studying abroad in Spain, did their relationship started to blossom... and her phone bill. When she returned home to Chicago that summer, it was like they had been dating for years. And can you guess where they spent a lot of their time? If you said the Cubs stadium you'd be absolutely right. Since her dad has been a season ticket holder forever, he pulled some strings and their name is in lights! Love it!

When Bob and I met with Ashley and Greg, and her mom, Terrie, I had my fingers crossed when we left the building they live in. We really loved meeting them all. When we got the call saying they wanted us to photograph their wedding, we couldn't have been happier!!! Every thing about Ashley is amazing. She is truly beautiful inside and out... and Greg adores her, which makes him so adorable! They make the sweetest couple... and just wait until you see their wedding photos! I'm posting them next!

How fun to be part of this incredible wedding! Bravo TV Million Dollar Listing Miami star Chad Carroll marries the love of his life, Jen Stone and it was featured on People.com. This incredible wedding was planned by the talented Chicago Event Planner, Reva Nathan of Reva Nathan & Associates. They were married at The Cleveland Museum of Art.
