Erin and Jacob's engagement session in Chicago's Fulton Market area was a celebration of love against an urban backdrop. Amidst the busy streets and vibrant energy, their love for each other is so playful and just so fun to witness!

As they sip beverages at the Publicans Restaurant, and walk the path of colorful walls, their journey symbolized the beginning of a beautiful chapter. Their upcoming wedding at Salt Lick BBQ in Austin, Texas, this September promises to be a celebration filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments.

Want to go fishing on your engagement session? Yes, please! What we love most about engagement sessions are they are super personal to who you are and what you like to do. Allison + Kyle wanted did just that because they like to occasionally fish together. Their love is fun and we are so excited for their wedding at The Drake Chicago next month!

We photographed Ethan's sister's wedding in Chicago, so when we got the call to photograph this beautiful couple's wedding in Austin, Texas, it was a no brainer. We love this family and we are so happy to be part of these special moments in their lives.

Bob had a blast photographing the engagement session of Ethan and his beautiful fiancé's, Perri, in Austin at Lakeside Park and Continental Avenue Bridge with some off camera flash photography. They were up for anything, even stopping at an ice cream shop for dessert!

We can't wait for their beautiful wedding day next September.

To say how much we love this family is an understatement! We photographed Zach's two sister's weddings and next will be his wedding to Mallary, his beautiful fiancé. Not to mention the love he has for Mallary's daughter, Zoe. I love this couple so much!!! We are beyond excited for their wedding next May at The Peninsula in Chicago!

Ohhh how we love this family! Thank you, thank you, thank you Marcy Glink at Great Events, Event Planner extraordinaire, for introducing us to Leslie Kind. We had a blast working with you on her son, Michael's wedding to Fran and we're so excited about Allison and Scott's wedding in November!

Allison and Scott met through mutual friends and they hit it off that night but it wasn't until months later did they meet up again at a Single's Valentine's Day dinner and instantly connected again spending the entire night talking as if no one else was there. The rest is history!

We can't wait for our wedding day you two lovies!!!!

Their story is super cute... and not love at first sight says Ashley, far from it as Greg was pursuing one of her friends. They met at a local Chicago bar, and she hit it off with his roommate. It wasn't until a few years later when she was studying abroad in Spain, did their relationship started to blossom... and her phone bill. When she returned home to Chicago that summer, it was like they had been dating for years. And can you guess where they spent a lot of their time? If you said the Cubs stadium you'd be absolutely right. Since her dad has been a season ticket holder forever, he pulled some strings and their name is in lights! Love it!

When Bob and I met with Ashley and Greg, and her mom, Terrie, I had my fingers crossed when we left the building they live in. We really loved meeting them all. When we got the call saying they wanted us to photograph their wedding, we couldn't have been happier!!! Every thing about Ashley is amazing. She is truly beautiful inside and out... and Greg adores her, which makes him so adorable! They make the sweetest couple... and just wait until you see their wedding photos! I'm posting them next!

When you know, you just know. I can tell that when Rocio and Cyrus met, they just knew that they were meant to be. Look at the way he looks at her! I love it. They met at work, and after a few weeks of subtle flirting, they went on their first date. For her birthday, Cyrus took her to Maui to celebrate. Little did she know, he was preparing for his proposal. He took Rocio out to dinner for her birthday and then wanted to give her a "gift" so he walked her down to the moonlit beach and proposed. She said "yes" and the rest is history! I'm pretty sure this was an amazing, birthday, vacation, proposal...!!!

Bob and I met this gorgeous couple through Claire Weller at Big City Bride and we are so happy for the introduction. Bob photographed their engagement session last year in early November at the Alfred Caldwell Lilly Pool where they sipped wine and walked amongst all the beautiful fall colors. So pretty! And they wanted some sunset evening photos along the Chicago River which are always a favorite of mine.

We recently photographed their wedding and talk about colorful... I can't wait to share those images!

Oh my gosh, how cute are Alex and Chris? WAY CUTE! I died when Alex's mom said that Chris was into boxing and that the boxing ring may be an option for their engagement session. And then when Alex agreed… I was like YES!!!! When Bob and I meet with our potential couples we always like to let them know that our style is all about the couple. Sure, we consider our photography timeless and classic with a fun, fresh twist. We are not formulaic and we, very much, like our photos to reflect who our clients are, not who Bob is as a photographer. These special events in peoples lives are about them, not us. So, when a fun shoot like Alex and Chris's engagement session comes up, we are always thrilled!!!

Bob, and our assistant who is also our daughter Alli, met them at Franklin Street Boxing Club Gym in Chicago where Alex boxed her soon to be husband and it was a TKO! Haha… seriously so cute, Alex in heels with her pink gloves! I love it!

They headed off to Eleven Lincoln Park, the cutest old school Jewish diner in Chicago! Sipping on a milkshake and hanging out in the candy shop made for some really cute photos! Then off to Chicago Union Station and Chicago North Avenue Beach for a crazy fun feather pillow fight! I just love that Alex and Chris were up for some fun!

We are beyond thrilled to be working with this family again, as we photographed their sister, Jillian's wedding to Brad in 2010 at the Chicago Hilton. Alex's parents, Debbie and Steve are so gracious and so fun… and we can't thank them enough for trusting us to capture their daughter's weddings! And a huge thank you to Reva Nathan for introducing us years ago to this wonderful family!
