The cutest, most sweetest couple ever...... Whitney and John. Their engagement session began at the Modern Wing of the Art Institute of Chicago and ended with a walk in Grant Park with their dog, Molly. The last photo of Molly looking right into the camera gets me every time. I want to just squeeze her to pieces! She knows she's cute!!! Whitney and John are very much in love and it shows in their photos. I'm so excited that we will be part of their wedding day! It's going to be over the top amazing, I just know it!!!

I don't even know how to put into words how excited we are to have Tanya and Pete's wedding featured in the Fall 2011 Issue of Inside Weddings magazine. So excited to have Laura & Joe's wedding featured in Weddings by The Ritz-Carlton magazine July-December 2011 issue. Their wedding, designed by Lisa Vorce of Oh How Charming, was incredibly beautiful on the coast of Dana Point at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel. Laura and Joe are both foodies and they wanted a dreamy beach wedding. Everything was perfect, right down to the sand dollars that wrapped the dinner menus, to the almond wedding cake with Bavarian chocolate and hazelnut crunch, sprinkled with brown sugar to resemble the beautiful sandy beaches. Simply magnificiet and we wouldn't expect anything less from Laura and Joe.

A big thank you to our dear friends, Christine Bentley and Heidi Morgan for second shooting this wedding with Bob. We love and adore you both. You all rocked this wedding!!! It couldn't have been more perfect!

TWO OF OUR FAVORITE IMAGES FROM THE DAY!

Wow........ time flies when you're having fun! Summer is in full blast and so is wedding season! This post is long overdue and I'm excited to finally share some photos from our last workshop in May. We were invited back to the Schaumburg Regional Airport by John Rippenger, Justin Barchfield, and Sean Kline. What a great group of guys!!! Our workshop 2 years ago was such a success, it was a no brainer to say YES, we'd love to do a workshop at the airport again! And the biggest surprise was from John's friend, Chuck Greenhill, who made a special appearance with his P-51 Mustang airplane. Chuck is so cute and completely stole the show. The photo above is one of my favorite photos of the day!

We had another amazing group of photographers join us at this workshop! Laura Brantley, Brittany Caryl, Stacie Kemp, Lisa Recine, Richard Reyes, Kelly Scarlati, Jessica Shirk, and Gus Zimmerman. I absolutely loved each and everyone of them. They are not only amazing people, they left us feeling really inspired. They were full of great questions! They shared their passion, their heart and souls with us, and we couldn't have asked for a better group to spend 2 incredible days with!

I just don't even know where to begin thanking our Operations Manager, Michele Gonzalez, she is also my niece. She works for us almost full-time and she keeps us on track. As our business flourishes, she manages everything for us so we don't absolutely lose our minds. We love her to pieces and are so thankful to have her in our lives for so many reasons!!!

Michele did a fantastic job organizing this workshop for us and taking care of all behind the scenes stuff. Finding reliable models and makeup artists are no easy task, and she always finds the best! She arranges all the meals that are sponsored by our incredible vendors that make our business so much better, Pictage, Photographer's Edit, Pixel2Canvas. Thank you to our vendors who shouted out about our workshop and supplied us with goodies to give away, FJ Westcott, Camera Bits, Radiopopper, Showit, GraphiStudio, and Kubota Image Tools. We are surrounded by amazing vendors who are vital to our success. Make sure to check them out!

And lastly, a big thank you to everyone who helped out with the over-the-top shots Bob got of John Rippenger's T-34 airplane. Radiopopper loaned us 45 units to make these shots possible, along with all the flashes our attendees & friends contributed, thank you Kenny Kim, Jenn Gaudreau, Jaclyn Simpson, Veronica Hinojosa, and Todd Pinckney. Thank you Angie Garbot for helping us out with our Nikon shooters. And wait... can't forget about Fritz Cripe who took Bob up in his chopper to get these photos! Fritz even took me and Kelly, our model, for a ride! We love you all and are so blessed to call you friends!!!

Meet Bianca and Joe......... a super hip and fashion-savvy couple who are beautiful inside and out...! Bob had a blast photographing their engagement session at the Schaumburg Regional Airport. They even rented a beautiful yellow Lamborghini. How cool is that? I just LOVE them!!!

We met Bianca and Joe through Christine Stone at Tying The Knot. Christine and her partner, Brooke Righeimer are located in Hinsdale, IL and event plan weddings around the country! We are excited to photograph our first wedding with her. She's amazing and we adore her!!! Her husband, Mike, is a musician and is teaching our kids how to play the guitar. So fun....!!! I love it!

Bianca and Joe, I can't wait for your wedding at the beautiful Elysian Hotel in Chicago. It's a gorgeous venue and you're going to have a magical day!!! Make sure to indulge in their spa.... it's by far, one of my favorites in Chicago!

They both attended college in different states and casually met through mutual friends. A few years later, they both move to NYC and coincidentally moved into the same apartment in the Chelsea neighborhood.................. on the same floor! How's that for fate? Although they started off as friends, their relationship soon blossomed into something more. Within months, they began dating.

Six years later, Jon surprised Leah and proposed to her in Central Park on a romantic and wintery night followed a stroll through the park in a decorated horse drawn carriage. The rest of the weekend was shared with family and friends. We were in Manhattan last October and Bob photographed their engagement session, it was perfect timing, and even the rain made for some fun images!

A huge thank you to Jennifer Anderson for introducing us to Leah and Jon. Jennifer is amazing and an incredible event planner. We are so grateful she trusts us with her clients. That's a huge compliment and we take that very seriously. She did an amazing job creating a dream wedding for Leah and Jon and we were honored to be part of their day! Their wedding and reception was at the exquisite New Albany Country Club in Ohio. They spent a year and a half planning every single gorgeous detail. There wasn't anything missing! Bob had the help of our talented friends, Jen Hester and Angie Garbot. Together the three of them rocked this wedding capturing every single detail. I love it!!! There images are mixed throughout and wow.... I love them all...!

Leah and Jon, you both rock my world. I love the way you look at each other. Leah, you are so elegant and you make me smile just looking at you in your gown! You both have such a beautiful family. Thank you for allowing us to be along during the adventure of your lifetime!!! You are the best! And we adore you both and wish you a lifetime of fun rainy days and happiness always!!!!

So, I'm a little late..... again! I'm just about ready to post the most beautiful wedding of Leah and Jon and realized I haven't posted their engagement session from last fall in beautiful Central Park, New York City! I really am in awe them. They are so much fun, and up for anything... as you can see from their rainy day photos! We happened to be in NY last October and it worked out perfectly because they live there. Bob and our cute intern at the time, Jordana, worked their magic and made lemons out of lemonade with all the rain.

Central Park is where Jon proposed to Leah so these are really special and I'm excited to share them with you!

Better late than never, I always say!

A fairytale wedding with the princess and the glass slipper..... well, almost! Taylor lights up the room when she smiles. There isn't a soul in the world that could not fall in love with her. She's a dream! And Scott is in love! I'll never forget when Bob and I were shooting their engagement session and I was telling Scott how incredibly beautiful Taylor was and his response was "I could look at her all day long!" They are a match made in heaven! Taylor posted one of her engagement photos on Facebook awhile back and there were a ton of her friend's comments on there, but somewhere half way down the list of ohhhhs and ahhhhs, was a comment from her dad and it simply said.... "you are nicer than you are beautiful." And that is the God's honest truth. Taylor is so incredibly beautiful, but that's not what's extraordinary about her. It's her personality... and that's what I mean when I said Taylor lights up a room when she smiles!!! Scott is definitely a scholar. He's incredibly handsome but there's so much more about him. To me, there is nothing sexier than a man who loves his woman... and there is no denying he loves his! They are surrounded by the most incredible families. When Taylor's dad had his "first look" of his baby girl in her dress, I shed tears observing his reaction and how proud he is of her. It was the most beautiful moment.... ever! She had an incredibly fun group of bridesmaids, not to mention sweet and beautiful. And Scott was surrounded by his groomsmen, who were up for anything, that stood next to him proudly. Bob and I feel so blessed to be part of their lives...!

Their wedding was at the exclusive Standard Club in Chicago. Their Event Planner, Jan Ehrenberg of Parties, Events & More, did an amazing job of orchestrating a fairytale wedding. Everything was exquisite right down to the table cloths that were especially designed after Taylor's dress by Heffernan Morgan Designs. A big thank you to our dear friend who flew in from California to shoot with Bob, Heidi Morgan. You are so amazing and we couldn't have done this without your support!!!
