Meet Bianca and Joe......... a super hip and fashion-savvy couple who are beautiful inside and out...! Bob had a blast photographing their engagement session at the Schaumburg Regional Airport. They even rented a beautiful yellow Lamborghini. How cool is that? I just LOVE them!!!

We met Bianca and Joe through Christine Stone at Tying The Knot. Christine and her partner, Brooke Righeimer are located in Hinsdale, IL and event plan weddings around the country! We are excited to photograph our first wedding with her. She's amazing and we adore her!!! Her husband, Mike, is a musician and is teaching our kids how to play the guitar. So fun....!!! I love it!

Bianca and Joe, I can't wait for your wedding at the beautiful Elysian Hotel in Chicago. It's a gorgeous venue and you're going to have a magical day!!! Make sure to indulge in their spa.... it's by far, one of my favorites in Chicago!

They both attended college in different states and casually met through mutual friends. A few years later, they both move to NYC and coincidentally moved into the same apartment in the Chelsea neighborhood.................. on the same floor! How's that for fate? Although they started off as friends, their relationship soon blossomed into something more. Within months, they began dating.

Six years later, Jon surprised Leah and proposed to her in Central Park on a romantic and wintery night followed a stroll through the park in a decorated horse drawn carriage. The rest of the weekend was shared with family and friends. We were in Manhattan last October and Bob photographed their engagement session, it was perfect timing, and even the rain made for some fun images!

A huge thank you to Jennifer Anderson for introducing us to Leah and Jon. Jennifer is amazing and an incredible event planner. We are so grateful she trusts us with her clients. That's a huge compliment and we take that very seriously. She did an amazing job creating a dream wedding for Leah and Jon and we were honored to be part of their day! Their wedding and reception was at the exquisite New Albany Country Club in Ohio. They spent a year and a half planning every single gorgeous detail. There wasn't anything missing! Bob had the help of our talented friends, Jen Hester and Angie Garbot. Together the three of them rocked this wedding capturing every single detail. I love it!!! There images are mixed throughout and wow.... I love them all...!

Leah and Jon, you both rock my world. I love the way you look at each other. Leah, you are so elegant and you make me smile just looking at you in your gown! You both have such a beautiful family. Thank you for allowing us to be along during the adventure of your lifetime!!! You are the best! And we adore you both and wish you a lifetime of fun rainy days and happiness always!!!!

So, I'm a little late..... again! I'm just about ready to post the most beautiful wedding of Leah and Jon and realized I haven't posted their engagement session from last fall in beautiful Central Park, New York City! I really am in awe them. They are so much fun, and up for anything... as you can see from their rainy day photos! We happened to be in NY last October and it worked out perfectly because they live there. Bob and our cute intern at the time, Jordana, worked their magic and made lemons out of lemonade with all the rain.

Central Park is where Jon proposed to Leah so these are really special and I'm excited to share them with you!

A fairytale wedding with the princess and the glass slipper..... well, almost! Taylor lights up the room when she smiles. There isn't a soul in the world that could not fall in love with her. She's a dream! And Scott is in love! I'll never forget when Bob and I were shooting their engagement session and I was telling Scott how incredibly beautiful Taylor was and his response was "I could look at her all day long!" They are a match made in heaven! Taylor posted one of her engagement photos on Facebook awhile back and there were a ton of her friend's comments on there, but somewhere half way down the list of ohhhhs and ahhhhs, was a comment from her dad and it simply said.... "you are nicer than you are beautiful." And that is the God's honest truth. Taylor is so incredibly beautiful, but that's not what's extraordinary about her. It's her personality... and that's what I mean when I said Taylor lights up a room when she smiles!!! Scott is definitely a scholar. He's incredibly handsome but there's so much more about him. To me, there is nothing sexier than a man who loves his woman... and there is no denying he loves his! They are surrounded by the most incredible families. When Taylor's dad had his "first look" of his baby girl in her dress, I shed tears observing his reaction and how proud he is of her. It was the most beautiful moment.... ever! She had an incredibly fun group of bridesmaids, not to mention sweet and beautiful. And Scott was surrounded by his groomsmen, who were up for anything, that stood next to him proudly. Bob and I feel so blessed to be part of their lives...!

Their wedding was at the exclusive Standard Club in Chicago. Their Event Planner, Jan Ehrenberg of Parties, Events & More, did an amazing job of orchestrating a fairytale wedding. Everything was exquisite right down to the table cloths that were especially designed after Taylor's dress by Heffernan Morgan Designs. A big thank you to our dear friend who flew in from California to shoot with Bob, Heidi Morgan. You are so amazing and we couldn't have done this without your support!!!

Their story is too cute. Melissa was approached by a friend at work asking if she was available because he knew a guy she just had to meet. After hearing all the details about his friend, Ben, her reply was "Is he funny? He has to be funny?" Her friend said assured her he was and told her to watch for an email from him. Well, an email from Ben arrived asking her if they could set a time to meet so they could discuss his love for fake gold jewelry, hair gel and tanning, Melissa realized her friend had set her up with a down-to-earth and fun-loving guy!

After their 1st date at the Trump Tower Chicago - Rebar Lounge, they set another date, and another. The rest is history!

Ohhhh, I just couldn't be more excited to share the engagement session of Melissa and Ben! They started at the Chicago Cultural Center and can I just say........ what a beautiful venue!!!

Melissa & Ben, you both are incredibly beautiful and so sweet. I can't wait for your wedding!!!

We've always dreamed of having the cover of Rangefinder magazine one day. Well, never did we dream WE would be on the cover! It's really not fair, I say. Our Italian book company, GraphiStudio asked us to have our photo taken by the talented Michael Greenberg, along with a select group of very talented photographers. Of course we said okay, not knowing why. Well, if I would have known why, I may not have wanted Bob to be shrinkwrapped. Don't ask...... oh geez! Here's the cover and I'm so excited that we are part of it.

I am in awe the clients that God brings into our lives. We met Taylor & Scott through their event planner, Jan Ehrenberg of Parties, Events & More. Thank you Jan! Taylor and her family are the sweetest people on earth. I can't wait for their wedding this Sunday. YES, I said it..... this Sunday. And YES, it took me this long to blog their engagement session. I know... I know... I'm a procrastinator. Actually, I'm a mom and that keeps me busy on top of running an incredible business. Oh and let's not forget to mention that I have 3 kids (which includes my husband!).

It was a beautiful Fall day. We met Taylor & Scott at the Chicago Botanic Garden where we got some spectacular photos and then headed downtown Chicago to do some night shots. So much fun!!! Ican't wait to share images from their wedding. Bob just photographed Taylor's dress fitting yesterday and OMG....... you are not going to want to miss seeing her dress! I promise not to wait long!

I'm loving this lifestyle session with Lauren + Ryan. They are the sweetest couple and so beautiful. Lauren modeled for us at one of our workshops and I just feel in love with her. Her & Ryan just had a baby, Noah Ryan, prematurely. He is just over a pound so your prayers would be greatly appreciated. He's beautiful and he's doing well. It's hard to believe Lauren was 4 months pregnant in these photos. They are going to be the best parents ever!

I've always wanted Bob to photograph at this old run down church, in Gary, IN. It was once a beautiful place to worship and is now considered to be a ruin. It was badly damaged in a fire in 1997. So very sad. It makes for a very unique place to shoot.

Another successful DAVIS LOVE STORY WORKSHOP that happened in Hinsdale, IL March 23-24, 2011. We rented a beautiful historic studio which once was an old movie theater to host our workshop at. It was crazy cool and I think all of us agreed it would make the most amazing photography studio. In fact, I think there were about 5 of us that said we'd go in on it together! I love to dream!!!

We had the most amazing group of photographers with us again! Joel Alonzo, Tricia Hanson and Hannah Anderson, Chris Blake, Gaynor Eisenberg, Jenny Kenney, Vito Radchenko, Josh Resar. We always say that God knows exactly the right amount of people to bless us with and he brought us some pretty incredible people to spend 2 wonderful days with.

A huge thank to our Operations Manager, Michele Gonzalez. I don't thank her enough. If it weren't for her, I'd be seriously lost. She is so instrumental in our business and she helps us prepare for our workshops. She does so much for us, I just can't thank her enough. We love you Michele!!! She spends hours behind the scenes making it all come together beautifully. She organized the meals which were sponsored by our amazing vendors, Pictage, Photographer's Edit, Pixel2Canvas. Thank you to our vendors who shouted out about our workshop and supplied us with goodies to give away, FJ Wesctott, Camera Bits, Radiopoppers, and Showit. We could not surrounded by more amazing vendors who are vital to our success. Make sure to check them out! And lastly, a big thank you to Angie Garbot and Jenn Gaudreau for all your help during the workshop. You are both incredible people, talented photographers, and dear friends!!!
