Ohhh, yes, I think I need a cold shower, these two just steamed up the windows! We met Lauren + Patrick just a few weeks ago and their wedding is this September. We needed to get their engagement session done fast so I could design their guest book for the wedding, which turned out stunning (see the last photo below). Exciting!!! They are just the sweetest, and not to mention, sexiest couples ever! I can't wait to see the photos Bob captures from their wedding day!

Our dear friends, Ruth Lin + Kenny Nakai, were married just a few weeks ago. What an honor to photograph a friend's wedding, not only is Kenny a friend, he's a photographer so it's a double honor! Our friends from Miami, Ray + Anna, came to the wedding and Ray photographed the wedding as well. Another one of our dear friends, Veronica, photographed their wedding too! This wedding was well covered by 3 talented photographers.

Bob photographed their engagement session and then came their wedding day at the swanky River East Arts Center in Chicago. They were surrounded by their friends and family. It was a beautiful day indeed.

Meet Jorie + Joel. What's not to love about a cute couple who is up for a super fun engagement session?!!! They wanted a smokey jazz club 1960's Mad Men feel where people know how to relax with style and enjoy and cocktail with their significant other and Green Mill was a perfect location. I love the images Bob captured from their shoot. A big thank you to Marcy Glink of Great Event for introducing us to Jorie + Joel and their family. We can't wait to see the beauty you create fo their wedding day!!!

Our dear friend, Kenny Nakai married his best friend, Ruth Lin on April 21st, 2012. Bob was honored to photograph their engagement session along with their wedding, which I'll post next. We met Kenny at WPPI in Vegas back in 2008, or was it 09, I can't remember. Kenny is a photographer, a really talented photographer and just an all around humble, genuine, wonderful guy. He is very sweet and very kind and was so sincere when we met him. To this day, he is the epitome of a Christian man who waited for God to introduce him to the perfect girl. We can't begin to express how honored we are to be part of their lives. Here's some images from their super cute engagement session. How fun are they?

These photos were taken at The Paris Club and Kenny's studio in Chicago, where our next WTF (What The Flash) lighting workshop will be held on May 09, 2012. You can find more details on our website here.

Bob and I are super excited to share with the world a video created by Anton Lorimer of Lorimer Works. I'm not sure how to quite describe this video other than it being a workshop promo video, however, this wasn't filmed at one of our workshops. It was filmed at our Ghost Town photo shootout in Vegas. A big thank you to Crystal Pickering, Bob Young, and Tracey Taylor + Dee Green for the most incredibly kind words in the video. They have all been to one of our workshops in the past and we have remained friends and always will.

Reva Nathan and her team did an incredible job making your wedding a dream come true! The Peninsula Hotel is such a beautiful venue and oh my gosh, I loved your Vera Wang wedding gown. We are excited for Emily and Brian's wedding to be featured in Chicago Social Brides. 5th Anniversary Edition Special Collector's Guide. Emily and Brian were married at the Peninsula hotel and it was beyond incredible. right down to every single detail created by Reva Nathan & Associates . A big thank you to Emily, Brian and their family for letting us be part of their very special day!

Today is a VERY SPECIAL day in our lives...! 10 very long years ago we walked through customs at O'Hare airport with our two beautiful children. Yes, we arrived home that day in complete tears after a long and difficult journey to adopt our kiddos. They are biological siblings from Chisinau, Moldova. When we were going through the process, it was one heartache after another. Every day felt like a year. And now........ every year feels like a day! It's amazing how fast time passes once you have kids! We are a family........... a forever family and we give God the glory every single day!

Well, here's the photo for everyone who knows us and those who may be reading this for the first time, the one we take every year on the same day, February 13th. It began with the first photo taken in 2002 at Casa de Copii, the orphanage they lived in for three and a half years. Every year on that same day, Bob takes the same photo of them with Papusheka (Alli's little doll). It was the first gift we ever gave her.

Adoption has been the biggest blessing in our lives. It's changed everything about us. Our kids have given us far more than we could ever provide for them. They are our children, maybe not through blood, but through the grace of God. They were born in our hearts. We love you Bobby and Alli always and forever, amen! If you're thinking about adopting, please know that you can ask us anything!
