We are so happy to share the wedding of LaLa Vazquez and Carmelo Anthony in Grace Ormonde's exquisite Wedding Style Magazine Spring/Summer 2011 issue. This was another fabulous wedding by the fabulous party planner, Mindy Weiss. Wow, that girl knows how to plan a wedding! Stunning doesn't even come close to describe how beautiful this wedding was.... oh la la! And Ed Libby Events did the most amazing job with the decor.... can we have another oh la la?!!! It was so beautiful, my jaw litterally hit the ground when we walked into Cipriani on 42nd Street, in the heart of New York city. And we were thrilled to photograph their wedding. A special thanks to our friend, Kenny Kim, who assisted Bob. I have say they rocked this wedding!
LaLa Vazquez and Carmelo Anthony's wedding was featured on a VH1 series and the show is called Full Court Wedding. You can check out all the episodes online at VH1 right HERE. |

We are truly inspired by your magazine and love each and every article every single month. And thank you Stephanie Boozer, you are so talented and we were beyond thrilled to know you were the writer we'd be working with. It was awesome getting to know you too! This article is about our workshops, primarily our wedding workshops. We are really excited to announce that in October 2011 we will be photographing an incredible wedding for a family of photographers and they want the wedding to be a workshop for other photographers to learn how Bob shoots a wedding. We won't be opening registration for this wedding workshop until August 2011. If you want to be put on a waiting list, please email us your contact info including your name, email, website and phone number. We will email you all first a week before registration opens to give you first opportunity to sign up. Here's a copy of the article. Enjoy!!! ~ Dawn + Bob |

iPad apps at AppStoreHQ I'm still really amazed and so proud of Bob that the iPad version of his Lights, Camera, Capture book has been so successful. It's featured on iTunes this week as new and noteworthy. It's also #1 in photography iPad apps in the US and 8 other countries. And today, it's #13 in all iPad Apps. OMG....really???? So exciting....!!! We just can't thank Barry Pruett, Sandy Smith, Courtney Allen and the entire Wiley team for believing in us. And Inkling, the developers, who created this iPad app...... you rock!!! |

3 years ago, Bob photographed Amberly & Ed's wedding, (for another company he no longer is associated with or endorses), and we just found out it's finally being aired on VH1. Amberly, won the VH1 Bridal Bootcamp wedding of her dreams and Bob was the lucky guy who photographed her wedding. She worked so hard, I cried throughout the entire episode. Bring tissues if you watch this, you will need them. Or maybe I'm just a big wuss. She's such a sweetheart! I hope you get a chance to watch this!!! Amberly is such an inspiration to me to get back to the gym!!! Enjoy!!!

Big NEWS....... Grace Ormonde of Wedding Style Magazine has just launched her new book: "being in love never goes out of style." It's beautiful and we are so excited to have a signed copy. Grace and her husband, Yanni, are so sweet and wonderfully in love! It makes my heart smile!
This week we were honored to attend Grace's book launch party at the Trump Tower in Chicago. A big thank you to my sister Cheri who watched our kids for us so that we could attend this event. I need to thank my family more, without them, Bob and I would not be able to maintain a successful business. Congratulations Grace!!! xoxoxox ~ Dawn & Bob To see more photos from this event, check out our Facebook Page. |

UPDATE 04/08/10: We're getting more and more excited about the release of Bob's new book: LIGHTS, CAMERA, CAPTURE. I think the official release date is April 20, 2010 but it's changed a couple of times. I know it's very soon!!!!
-------------------------------------------- ORIGINALLY POSTED 02/28/10 When Barry Pruett from Wiley Publishing approached Bob about writing a book, I have to be honest... he was a little nervous. He's never written a book before and he wasn't sure if he could. Well, with much trepidation he accepted the challenge. While writing the book, there were many moments where he was feeling pretty weak and he was beginning to doubt himself. But I knew that God had much bigger plans for him than he could see for himself. I am so proud of him as he's in the final stages of preparing for the release of his 1st book. It's pretty exciting as I know he poured his heart and soul into this book. He's received some great feedback on the sample chapter we have shared with our friends. Creative Lighting For Digital Photographers Anyway, it's listed on Amazon available for pre-order. I'm sure once it's release, the price will go up some so order it soon! We're excited to hear your thoughts!!! We just can't thank Barry Pruett, Sandy Smith, Courtney Allen and the entire team at Wiley for supporting Bob and I in all our endeavors! You all are the very best!!! |

In November of 2009, 4 people, Bob Davis, Anton Lorimer, Kenny Kim and Jim Davis-Hicks, the President of Thirst Relief International journeyed to the East African country of Tanzania. The goal of the trip was to document and create a compelling film that captured the clean water needs of the region and the efforts of Thirst Relief International. Cinematographers Anton Lorimer and Bob Davis shot the project in a documentary style that attempts to capture the real struggles and efforts of the people in Africa. Kenny Kim was the designated photographer and blogger that relayed the day to day progress to the rest of the world. Jim Davis-Hicks acted as guide and spokesperson of Thirst Relief. Post production/editing was performed by Lorimerworks. We are so excited to share the final version of the documentary video.
To make A Donation to Thirst Relief International. $5.00 goes a long way, $10.00 goes even further, etc... For the price of a Starbucks latte, you can make a huge difference in the lives of many people. To see all versions of the video at Thirst Relief's SmugMug site, click HERE xoxoxo ~ Dawn & Bob |
