I know I already blogged about the +Site we created for Sarah & Brent but I couldn't go without posting some of our favorite images from their wedding.

And you'll totally think we're crazy having over 15 photographers join us on our Real Wedding Workshop to photograph their wedding with us at the beautiful Ocean Lodge resort in St. Simons Island, Georgia…. at Sarah + Brent's request. Only a photographer would want something so crazy! I love her for it. We had a blast!!! So here are a few from the wedding day!

This was an incredible day! The day after Sarah + Brent's wedding at the beautiful Ocean Lodge resort in St. Simons Island, Georgia, we took all 15+ photographers from our Real Wedding Workshop to Jeckyll Island (Georgia) where Brent proposed to Sarah and had an INCREDIBLE photo session there…........ SO FUN!

So, most of you know that not only are we a husband & wife photography & design team, we're also educators in the photographic industry. And we're excited to be part of this contest with PICTAGE. So, to all our photographer friends who use Pictage, this opportunity is for YOU! Bob will be one of the judges. But don't think you can butter him up with nice comments about his photos, it won't work. BUT some delicious cupcakes secretly showing up on my doorstop might help. Switzerland photographers................ whew! A tough crowd, but one I feel in love with. Bob and I taught a 2 day workshop in Zurich, Switzerland in March to an amazing group of photographers. I think we had about 38 attendees. Things are very different in Switzerland than they are here in the States. Things like First Looks, Engagement Sessions, and Mess The Dress sessions aren't really considered there. Networking isn't really big there either. As we all know here, networking with other photographers is huge! Our friend, Daniel Zihlmann is a photographer in Switzerland and he's breaking all the rules. He's created a group called The Wedding Crashers and once a month they all get together to network. They encourage each other and they are bringing a different spin to wedding photography. It's pretty amazing. It reminds me of what's been happening in the States since things like David Jay's forum Open Source Photo began. I love it! And I think the photographers from Switzerland are all going to make some huge changes there over the next year! It's pretty exciting!

A big thank you to Paul Merki from Light+Byte. He brought us over to teach this workshop and we are so humbled by that. I was really awesome meeting you Paul. Thank you for making this workshop possible!

UPDATE 04/08/10: We're getting more and more excited about the release of Bob's new book: LIGHTS, CAMERA, CAPTURE. I think the official release date is April 20, 2010 but it's changed a couple of times. I know it's very soon!!!!

When Barry Pruett from Wiley Publishing approached Bob about writing a book, I have to be honest... he was a little nervous. He's never written a book before and he wasn't sure if he could. Well, with much trepidation he accepted the challenge. While writing the book, there were many moments where he was feeling pretty weak and he was beginning to doubt himself. But I knew that God had much bigger plans for him than he could see for himself.

I am so proud of him as he's in the final stages of preparing for the release of his 1st book. It's pretty exciting as I know he poured his heart and soul into this book. He's received some great feedback on the sample chapter we have shared with our friends.

Anyway, it's listed on Amazon available for pre-order. I'm sure once it's release, the price will go up some so order it soon! We're excited to hear your thoughts!!!

We just can't thank Barry Pruett, Sandy Smith, Courtney Allen and the entire team at Wiley for supporting Bob and I in all our endeavors! You all are the very best!!!

Please tell me three months of the new year hasn't passed us by already? Has it? NO, I say! Where does the time go? Besides potty training a new puppy, being taxi drivers for school dances, choir concerts, sports, and tutoring, life is giving us quite a roller coaster ride!

Bob & I are planning an amazing trip to Switzerland. YES...!!! Switzerland and we couldn't be more excited to meet Paul Merki from Light+Byte. He invited us over to teach a 2 day workshop in Zurich. This is going to be an amazing experience and we're honored to be meeting all the attendees!

A great big thank you to Daniel Zihlmann (Wedding Photographer / WCS - Wedding Crashers Switzerland) for introducing us to Paul. Daniel and I have been blogger friends for many years.... many, many years! It's going to be amazing to finally meet him. He's sweet, kind, fun and a really wonderful photographer.

We're also really stoked that the beautiful Lorimer family (Abby, Anton and Trevor) will be coming with us to Switzerland! Anton Lorimer of Lorimer Works will be producing a photographer's promo video for us. Anton has created some of the most amazing work that I have ever seen!!! Both our workshop promo videos, Davis Love Story and our Vegas Love Story and he edited Bob's EOS Canon 5D Mark II short film Voyage. We just can't say enough about Anton... I do know that one day we'll be saying "I knew him when....".

And I must say that I am screaming happy that our dear friend Heidi Morgan and her daughter Kaitlin will be coming to Switzerland too! We met Heidi at our workshop in St. Simons Island last October. This girl is the BEST! Yay!!! I can't wait to see her again!
