Please tell me three months of the new year hasn't passed us by already? Has it? NO, I say! Where does the time go? Besides potty training a new puppy, being taxi drivers for school dances, choir concerts, sports, and tutoring, life is giving us quite a roller coaster ride!

Bob & I are planning an amazing trip to Switzerland. YES...!!! Switzerland and we couldn't be more excited to meet Paul Merki from Light+Byte. He invited us over to teach a 2 day workshop in Zurich. This is going to be an amazing experience and we're honored to be meeting all the attendees!

A great big thank you to Daniel Zihlmann (Wedding Photographer / WCS - Wedding Crashers Switzerland) for introducing us to Paul. Daniel and I have been blogger friends for many years.... many, many years! It's going to be amazing to finally meet him. He's sweet, kind, fun and a really wonderful photographer.

We're also really stoked that the beautiful Lorimer family (Abby, Anton and Trevor) will be coming with us to Switzerland! Anton Lorimer of Lorimer Works will be producing a photographer's promo video for us. Anton has created some of the most amazing work that I have ever seen!!! Both our workshop promo videos, Davis Love Story and our Vegas Love Story and he edited Bob's EOS Canon 5D Mark II short film Voyage. We just can't say enough about Anton... I do know that one day we'll be saying "I knew him when....".

And I must say that I am screaming happy that our dear friend Heidi Morgan and her daughter Kaitlin will be coming to Switzerland too! We met Heidi at our workshop in St. Simons Island last October. This girl is the BEST! Yay!!! I can't wait to see her again!

We are SO EXCITED to introduce our very first Operations Manager, Michele Gonzalez. She will be our main "point of contact" person for our business and help us out with many of the emails we receive. She will also be handing our schedule and keeping us on track. I know she is overwhelmed but I also know that she will do a fantastic job! So please help Bob and I with a nice welcome!

In November of 2009, 4 people, Bob Davis, Anton Lorimer, Kenny Kim and Jim Davis-Hicks, the President of Thirst Relief International journeyed to the East African country of Tanzania. The goal of the trip was to document and create a compelling film that captured the clean water needs of the region and the efforts of Thirst Relief International. Cinematographers Anton Lorimer and Bob Davis shot the project in a documentary style that attempts to capture the real struggles and efforts of the people in Africa. Kenny Kim was the designated photographer and blogger that relayed the day to day progress to the rest of the world. Jim Davis-Hicks acted as guide and spokesperson of Thirst Relief. Post production/editing was performed by Lorimerworks. We are so excited to share the final version of the documentary video.

While at a fundraising event, Kim's best friend pretended to know Greg just so she could introduce her to the "cute" guy. The plan worked...! After dating over a year, one morning Greg woke Kim early to watch the sun rise. Little did she know that he would propose to her on the beach!

A Bar Mitzvah sure to remember! We photographed Jack's brother's, Maxx's Bar Mizvah! and last November we photographed Jack's. The Klein family is one of the most wonderful families ever. They are so loving, so fun, and so true to family.
