La La Vazquez was photographed for the cover of Munaluchi Bridal, an exquisite bridal magazine. Albeit, the cover image is not ours, there is a 9 page spread in the magazine feauring her wedding to NBA star husband, Carmelo Anthony which was an absolute blast to photograph at Cipriani's on 42nd Street, in New York.

When the incredibe Jacqueline Nwobu, Publisher and Editor-In-Chief of Munaluchi Bridal, contacted us to let us know the article had run in her magazine, we were stunned and thrilled. We can't thank Jacqueline enough for sending us a copy of the magazine to share with our friends and family!

Triple Scoop Music has made quite the name for themselves in the music licensing industry service for photographers, videographers, and creative professionals! In just 5 short years, their world-class music collections include Grammy and Emmy winning artists, as well as acclaimed songwriters and musicians from around the globe.

We are excited to be working with the founders of Triple Scoop Music on our very own collection of music. When they approached us over a year ago about creating a customized collection, we were beyond excited. We spent many hours pouring over each song, loving so many of them, until we came up with the perfect 10 songs that would match our style for wedding and engagements.

We will be premiering our "Love Story" collection at WPPI in Vegas at our Platform Class this Sunday, March 20th at 3:30-5:30pm. We will be giving away the entire collection and some gift certificates for individual songs at our Plus Class AND our Platform. Both working on Michigan Avenue in the same building, they rode the elevator together for months sharing sweet glances at each other. One day, Pete recalls, after being out the night before and not feeling so great, he finds himself in the elevator with his crush and totally unable to think of anything witty or charming to say. And Tanya recalls Pete looking at her but not saying anything, so she decided finally to say something totally unoriginal (and that's her words) like "so, what's on the 22nd floor?" Well, that moment began the story of Tanya + Pete.

They were dating for about a year and a half when Pete proposed. Tanya had been at the gym that morning. When she met him back at their apartment, she was in total shock! Pete planned a scavenger hunt with notes that led from clue to clue, even tying one around their puppy, Spencer. The final note leading to the actual proposal was placed at the elevator to commemorate the day they actually first spoke. And Bob was there to cover the "YES! I will marry you". Pete then surprised Tanya with an amazing engagement party which he had been planning for months. Tanya's family came in from Ohio and their friends from all over the country were there to help celebrate their love!!!

Bob photographed their engagement session and then came their wedding day at the gorgeous Peninsula hotel in Chicago. They spent 9 months planning the wedding themselves; it was harder than they thought but it was worth every single effort. Lisa Zimbler, was their "Day Of" consultant and she did a wonderful job at keeping the day running smoothly. Thank you Lisa! She is such a joy to work alongside. We can't say thank you enough to our amazingly talented friend, Christine Bentley, who assisted Bob. Her images are mixed throughout and wow.... they are fantastic. Bob and I love you Christine!

Tanya and Pete, thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey together, from the proposal, engagement session, to your wedding day! We adore you both and think you're FABULICIOUS!!!

I love this photo collage above. The sweet details are always my favorite. The picture frame is holding old photos of Tanya's grandparents. And the purse was given to her by her mom who carried it on her wedding day 37 years ago.... makes me want to cry! The Ethan Lord rings are stunning. Pete's wedding gift to Tanya was her Bochic earrings. What a guy! And Tanya wanted her each of her bridesmaids to have a unique piece of jewelry from Cocotay. She worked with the owner, Courtney Blaisdell, to come up with some beautiful pieces. I think they were spectacular!

Stunning doesn't even come close to describe how beautiful this wedding was.... oh la la! And Ed Libby Events did the most amazing job with the decor.... can we have another oh la la?!!! It was so beautiful, my jaw litterally hit the ground when we walked into Cipriani on 42nd Street, in the heart of New York city. And we were thrilled to photograph their wedding. A special thanks to our friend, Kenny Kim, who assisted Bob. I have say they rocked this wedding!

This article is about our workshops, primarily our wedding workshops. We are really excited to announce that in October 2011 we will be photographing an incredible wedding for a family of photographers and they want the wedding to be a workshop for other photographers to learn how Bob shoots a wedding. I'm beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.......... are you?

How lucky are we to have our last wedding of the year be for our kiddo's teachers. Miss Kelli was Alli and Bobby's 4th grade homeroom teacher and Patrick was Alli's 5th grade math teacher. Kelli is one of the sweetest, most amazing teachers on the planet. And Patrick, well, he's a lucky guy and also a wonderful teacher. I don't know about you, but our kid's elementary school was filled with female teachers. So, all the kids were always hoping to get Mr. Casey for their teacher.

Their wedding was the last one of the season for us. I have so much to blog and because I'm finally seeing the light, I'll be a blogging fool over the next few weeks. I can't wait to share photos and stories from all the fabulous weddings and engagement sessions we've had over the year.

So, tonight I share with you two very sweet photos of Kelli + Patrick. May God bless you both indeed. I hope you always know how forever grateful we'll be to the loving care you both showed our children.

I'm still really amazed and so proud of Bob that the iPad version of his Lights, Camera, Capture book has been so successful. It's featured on iTunes this week as new and noteworthy. It's also #1 in photography iPad apps in the US and 8 other countries. And today, it's #13 in all iPad Apps. OMG....really???? So exciting....!!! We just can't thank Barry Pruett, Sandy Smith, Courtney Allen and the entire Wiley team for believing in us. And Inkling, the developers, who created this iPad app...... you rock!!!
