Meet Isabelle + Michael. You may remember them from their super fun ENGAGEMENT SESSION. What can I say...... they are so sweet. Let me rephrase that.... they are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.....!!!! Isabelle is so fun and so appreciative of our work and so easy going. I love everything about her. And I love the way Michael looks at her. How can you not....? She is stunning!

Where do I go from here? The details of their wedding... deserves an O.M.G...! I absolutely love her dress. Is it not to die for? Love the flower and the layers! Sheesh.......... I could go on forever. Isabelle + Michael both got ready at the incredible new boutique hotel in Chicago, the Elysian. It's beyond stunning. The presidential suite is over the top. That's where the dress shots were taken.

Next, let's talk about the Chicago Botanic Garden. Just spectacular!!! Connie Bolle, the Director of Sales and Catering, is incredibly sweet. She did an amazing job preparing for this wedding. The grounds are lush and beyond dreamy! It's a perfect place for a wedding! I love the room with all the pictures on the wall, such a great space for portraits.

A big and very deserved shout out goes to Reva Nathan, Event Planner Extraordinaire. I call her that because that's exactly what she is.... extraordinary! As you can see from the last wedding I posted, she knows how to plan and execute the most incredible events. If you're looking to have a unique, mouth dropping affair, then Reva & her staff is definitely the perfect choice!

Thank you Isabelle + Michael for choosing us! You make our hearts smile big, and you make us want to be better people. Thank you, a huge thank you to Aida Krgin for flying out from New York and 2nd shooting this wedding with Bob. You are so talented and such a great friend.

All I can say about Lynn + Adam's wedding is.............. WOW!!! I mean, seriously, WOW! What a beautiful fairytale wedding. They looked so beautiful and incredibly in love! We first met with Lynn's parents, Helene & Burt, at Reva Nathan & Associates, event planner extraordinaire. They blew me away with their kindness. They have a great love for their family and they were so excited for Lynn + Adam. I felt such a connection to them, you could just tell they had a grateful marriage and so appreciative of their blessings in life. We later met with them again and were introduced to Lynn + Adam. We could see right away the beauty that had been handed down to Lynn. They are an incredible family and we were so blessed to be part of their wedding day!

While at a fundraising event, Kim's best friend pretended to know Greg just so she could introduce her to the "cute" guy. The plan worked...! After dating over a year, one morning Greg woke Kim early to watch the sun rise. Little did she know that he would propose to her on the beach!

Since the new year, we've been pulling images from last year, updating our site, and gearing up for a very busy year of weddings, mitzvah and workshops. We're working on our workshop schedule and will be posting information about it next week. Keep an eye out for that.

I was just fixing to send some images to The Drake Hotel from Nicolette & Branko's wedding that we photographed forever and a day ago. We were so busy, it completely escaped my mind to share them with the hotel. They are too pretty not to share with you all.

Just a sneak peek of Bob's recent trip to Italy with our friends, Gene Higa & Jose Villa.

Life has been so hectic at the Davis home, I wanted Bob to take a break and go somewhere he loves.... Italy! When Gene & Jose announced their Workshop, I knew it would be a great opportunity for him to get away from all the craziness we've been experiencing, hang with the boys, learn from Gene & Jose, and just plain relax. I'm so glad he did. He had a fantastic time getting to know everyone and hanging out doing what he loves! Thank you Gene & Jose (and Ann) for taking such good care of him. He was so missed...!!!

Yowser! I love this book design!!! I know I already posted about their wedding (HERE) but I wanted to share with you all their book design. Hubba, hubba, hubba!!! When Crystal & Ron called us about photographing their wedding at the Westin Maui Resort & Spa in Hawaii, I was excited. But when I met them at their engagement session is when I knew their wedding was going to be fun! They are so in love, a little crazy, and über cool to be around.

This being my first time in Hawaii, I wanted to soak up every minute of my island adventure. Crystal & Ron celebrated their love with a small intimate destination wedding with their family and close friends. The sun was beginning to set just as I arrived at the Westin Maui. Before I unpacked, I wanted to capture the light that was gracing our eyes. I saw Crystal & Ron walking hand in hand along the waters edge. Crystal's soul is filled with warmth and Ron's smile puts everyone at ease, they welcomed me to Hawaii with a lei of flowers. The next three days I felt like I part of their family while capturing the beauty of their wedding celebration. Their 4 children are precious and they united their families together beautifully. I hope they treasure these pictures as much as I will the memories I have from my first trip to Maui.

Thank you Crystal and Ron for allowing me to be part of your day. Thank you to the Westin Maui in Hawaii for all the joy you brought their family this trip. I plan to be back with my family one day soon.
