When the über cool Director of Publications, Cameron Bishopp reached out to us about being featured in Professional Photographer magazine we were so excited!!! Thank you Cameron for thinking of us. We are truly inspired by your magazine and love each and every article every single month. And thank you Stephanie Boozer, you are so talented and we were beyond thrilled to know you were the writer we'd be working with. It was awesome getting to know you too! This article is about our workshops, primarily our wedding workshops. We are really excited to announce that in October 2011 we will be photographing an incredible wedding for a family of photographers and they want the wedding to be a workshop for other photographers to learn how Bob shoots a wedding. We won't be opening registration for this wedding workshop until August 2011. If you want to be put on a waiting list, please email us your contact info including your name, email, website and phone number. I'm beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.......... are you?

How lucky are we to have our last wedding of the year be for our kiddo's teachers. Miss Kelli was Alli and Bobby's 4th grade homeroom teacher and Patrick was Alli's 5th grade math teacher. Kelli is one of the sweetest, most amazing teachers on the planet. And Patrick, well, he's a lucky guy and also a wonderful teacher. I don't know about you, but our kid's elementary school was filled with female teachers. So, all the kids were always hoping to get Mr. Casey for their teacher.

Their wedding was the last one of the season for us. I have so much to blog and because I'm finally seeing the light, I'll be a blogging fool over the next few weeks. I can't wait to share photos and stories from all the fabulous weddings and engagement sessions we've had over the year.

So, tonight I share with you two very sweet photos of Kelli + Patrick. May God bless you both indeed. I hope you always know how forever grateful we'll be to the loving care you both showed our children.

3 years ago, Bob photographed Amberly & Ed's wedding, (for another company he no longer is associated with or endorses), and we just found out it's finally being aired on VH1. Amberly, won the VH1 Bridal Bootcamp wedding of her dreams and Bob was the lucky guy who photographed her wedding. She worked so hard, I cried throughout the entire episode. Bring tissues if you watch this, you will need them. Or maybe I'm just a big wuss. She's such a sweetheart! I hope you get a chance to watch this!!! Amberly is such an inspiration to me to get back to the gym!!! Enjoy!!!

Look what came in the mail this week. Janny and James's wedding book!!!! Ohhhhh, I'm so in love! James is a photographer and between the two of us, we took forever selecting their images for their book. Since their wedding was in May 2008, I can wholeheartedly say........ it was well worth the wait!!!

Our book company, GraphiStudio is the BEST book company in the world. And that's fair to say since they are worldwide and located in Italy. They have amazing products and we have always offered the best to our clients. I found out from a really cool photographer, Belen Aquino, that GraphiStudio offers custom engraving on their varnished covers. I immediately knew that James would love this because he's just so cool. I asked him to send me the artwork from East Six, the wedding invitation company they hired, so I could have it engraved on the cover. And violà! Look at this beauty! This was an incredible day! The day after Sarah + Brent's wedding at the beautiful Ocean Lodge resort in St. Simons Island, Georgia, we took all 15+ photographers from our Real Wedding Workshop to Jeckyll Island (Georgia) where Brent proposed to Sarah and had an INCREDIBLE photo session there…........ SO FUN!

Meet Isabelle + Michael. You may remember them from their super fun ENGAGEMENT SESSION. What can I say...... they are so sweet. Let me rephrase that.... they are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.....!!!! Isabelle is so fun and so appreciative of our work and so easy going. I love everything about her. And I love the way Michael looks at her. How can you not....? She is stunning!

Where do I go from here? The details of their wedding... deserves an O.M.G...! I absolutely love her dress. Is it not to die for? Love the flower and the layers! Sheesh.......... I could go on forever. Isabelle + Michael both got ready at the incredible new boutique hotel in Chicago, the Elysian. It's beyond stunning. The presidential suite is over the top. That's where the dress shots were taken.

Next, let's talk about the Chicago Botanic Garden. Just spectacular!!! Connie Bolle, the Director of Sales and Catering, is incredibly sweet. She did an amazing job preparing for this wedding. The grounds are lush and beyond dreamy! It's a perfect place for a wedding! I love the room with all the pictures on the wall, such a great space for portraits.

A big and very deserved shout out goes to Reva Nathan, Event Planner Extraordinaire. I call her that because that's exactly what she is.... extraordinary! As you can see from the last wedding I posted, she knows how to plan and execute the most incredible events. If you're looking to have a unique, mouth dropping affair, then Reva & her staff is definitely the perfect choice!

Thank you Isabelle + Michael for choosing us! You make our hearts smile big, and you make us want to be better people. Thank you, a huge thank you to Aida Krgin for flying out from New York and 2nd shooting this wedding with Bob. You are so talented and such a great friend.

All I can say about Lynn + Adam's wedding is.............. WOW!!! I mean, seriously, WOW! What a beautiful fairytale wedding. They looked so beautiful and incredibly in love! We first met with Lynn's parents, Helene & Burt, at Reva Nathan & Associates, event planner extraordinaire. They blew me away with their kindness. They have a great love for their family and they were so excited for Lynn + Adam. I felt such a connection to them, you could just tell they had a grateful marriage and so appreciative of their blessings in life. We later met with them again and were introduced to Lynn + Adam. We could see right away the beauty that had been handed down to Lynn. They are an incredible family and we were so blessed to be part of their wedding day!

Thank you Helene, Burt, Lynn + Adam for sharing one of the most important days in your life with us! We wish you all a lifetime of happiness!!! And a big thank you to our 2nd shooter, Ed Weiland. You are the best and we love you!
