This is it........ the REAL WEDDING WORKSHOP of the year, where Tiffany + Miles said "I Do" in front of 100+ friends and family at the most beautiful southern chic venue, Cedarwood Weddings in Nashville, Tennessee. I think this is the largest amount of images from any one event that I've ever posted. I hard the hardest time narrowing down the images. You can see even more on our Facebook page, right HERE.
I don't even know where to begin. This was such an incredible wedding + workshop experience. Tiffany's mom, Arline, is a photographer that attended our Vegas Love Story workshop in 2008, and assisted us with our 2nd wedding + workshop of Sarah + Brent in St. Simons Island in 2009. Arline is now a dear friend of ours and well, it's was her daughter's turn to get married. Tiffany + Miles wanted to share their wedding day and make it a dream wedding for photographers to walk away with a beautiful portfolio southern wedding. So, with that being said, we had 18 photographers sign up to shoot this wedding with Bob and learn from him. With the amazing help from, Angie Garbot, plus Arline's crew of 3 photographers, I would bet I could safely say this was the most photographed wedding in history totaling 24 photographers. You ask "how in the world does 24 photographers not get in each others way?" and "who on earth would want 18 photographers be educated on their wedding day?" well, all I can say is that we were blessed with 18 of thee most amazing attendees/photographers to shoot with and well.... only a couple who comes from a family of photographers, Ace Photography, would be this crazy!!! We all had the BEST time ever at Tiffany + Miles wedding and the images below will show you how incredible a dream southern chic wedding can be! Thank you, THANK YOU, thank you Arline, Tiffany + Miles for letting us be part of your incredible wedding day. Tiffany, you looked stunning in your Karen Hendrix Couture gown. If you're a bride reading this, you must check out Karen's work. She is an extraordinarily talented, creative, designer who is a beautiful, sweet woman and so gracious about her success. Also, a huge thank you to Karen and Linda, the owners of Historic Cedarwood Weddings who made us feel so welcomed. Their southern hospitality goes beyond any simple expectation. Their exceptional team graciously worked around all the madness and all our photographers beautifully. I dream about the day we can photograph another wedding there! Tiffany + Miles, from the bottom of our heart......... THANK YOU! You two are so meant to be together. You are crazy in love and it's so fun to see!!! Much love and blessings for a long, happy, healthy life together!!! xoxoxo, ~ Dawn & Bob Ps: This is just the wedding day blog post. I still need to go through all the images from our day before and after the wedding... OMG! |

I don't even know how to put into words how excited we are to have Tanya and Pete's wedding featured in the Fall 2011 Issue of Inside Weddings magazine. It's one of the best wedding magazines in the world to draw inspiration from as a bride. We can't thank enough, the beautiful Marilyn Oliveira, and Art Scangas for this incredible honor. Truly... Bob and I are so excited...!!!
And a big thank you, again, to Christine Bentley who 2nd shot this wedding with Bob. She's our details diva! xoxoxo! |

So excited to have Laura & Joe's wedding featured in Weddings by The Ritz-Carlton magazine July-December 2011 issue. Their wedding, designed by Lisa Vorce of Oh How Charming, was incredibly beautiful on the coast of Dana Point at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel. Laura and Joe are both foodies and they wanted a dreamy beach wedding. Everything was perfect, right down to the sand dollars that wrapped the dinner menus, to the almond wedding cake with Bavarian chocolate and hazelnut crunch, sprinkled with brown sugar to resemble the beautiful sandy beaches. Simply magnificiet and we wouldn't expect anything less from Laura and Joe.
A big thank you to our dear friends, Christine Bentley and Heidi Morgan for second shooting this wedding with Bob. We love and adore you both. You all rocked this wedding!!! It couldn't have been more perfect! |

They both attended college in different states and casually met through mutual friends. A few years later, they both move to NYC and coincidentally moved into the same apartment in the Chelsea neighborhood.................. on the same floor! How's that for fate? Although they started off as friends, their relationship soon blossomed into something more. Within months, they began dating.
Six years later, Jon surprised Leah and proposed to her in Central Park on a romantic and wintery night followed a stroll through the park in a decorated horse drawn carriage. The rest of the weekend was shared with family and friends. We were in Manhattan last October and Bob photographed their engagement session, it was perfect timing, and even the rain made for some fun images! A huge thank you to Jennifer Anderson for introducing us to Leah and Jon. Jennifer is amazing and an incredible event planner. We are so grateful she trusts us with her clients. That's a huge compliment and we take that very seriously. She did an amazing job creating a dream wedding for Leah and Jon and we were honored to be part of their day! Their wedding and reception was at the exquisite New Albany Country Club in Ohio. They spent a year and a half planning every single gorgeous detail. There wasn't anything missing! Bob had the help of our talented friends, Jen Hester and Angie Garbot. Together the three of them rocked this wedding capturing every single detail. I love it!!! There images are mixed throughout and wow.... I love them all...! Leah and Jon, you both rock my world. I love the way you look at each other. Leah, you are so elegant and you make me smile just looking at you in your gown! You both have such a beautiful family. Thank you for allowing us to be along during the adventure of your lifetime!!! You are the best! And we adore you both and wish you a lifetime of fun rainy days and happiness always!!!! Loads of love...! ~ Dawn and Bob |

A fairytale wedding with the princess and the glass slipper..... well, almost! Taylor lights up the room when she smiles. There isn't a soul in the world that could not fall in love with her. She's a dream! And Scott is in love! I'll never forget when Bob and I were shooting their engagement session and I was telling Scott how incredibly beautiful Taylor was and his response was "I could look at her all day long!" They are a match made in heaven! Taylor posted one of her engagement photos on Facebook awhile back and there were a ton of her friend's comments on there, but somewhere half way down the list of ohhhhs and ahhhhs, was a comment from her dad and it simply said.... "you are nicer than you are beautiful." And that is the God's honest truth. Taylor is so incredibly beautiful, but that's not what's extraordinary about her. It's her personality... and that's what I mean when I said Taylor lights up a room when she smiles!!! Scott is definitely a scholar. He's incredibly handsome but there's so much more about him. To me, there is nothing sexier than a man who loves his woman... and there is no denying he loves his! They are surrounded by the most incredible families. When Taylor's dad had his "first look" of his baby girl in her dress, I shed tears observing his reaction and how proud he is of her. It was the most beautiful moment.... ever! She had an incredibly fun group of bridesmaids, not to mention sweet and beautiful. And Scott was surrounded by his groomsmen, who were up for anything, that stood next to him proudly. Bob and I feel so blessed to be part of their lives...!
Their wedding was at the exclusive Standard Club in Chicago. Their Event Planner, Jan Ehrenberg of Parties, Events & More, did an amazing job of orchestrating a fairytale wedding. Everything was exquisite right down to the table cloths that were especially designed after Taylor's dress by Heffernan Morgan Designs. A big thank you to our dear friend who flew in from California to shoot with Bob, Heidi Morgan. You are so amazing and we couldn't have done this without your support!!! Here's a sneak peek from their wedding and their "day after" session. I'll post more images soon! Enjoy! xoxoxo ~ Dawn |

La La Vazquez was photographed for the cover of Munaluchi Bridal, an exquisite bridal magazine. Albeit, the cover image is not ours, there is a 9 page spread in the magazine feauring her wedding to NBA star husband, Carmelo Anthony which was an absolute blast to photograph at Cipriani's on 42nd Street, in New York.
When the incredibe Jacqueline Nwobu, Publisher and Editor-In-Chief of Munaluchi Bridal, contacted us to let us know the article had run in her magazine, we were stunned and thrilled. We can't thank Jacqueline enough for sending us a copy of the magazine to share with our friends and family! LaLa Vazquez and Carmelo Anthony's wedding was also featured on a VH1 series and the show is called Full Court Wedding. You can check out all the episodes online at VH1 right HERE. |

Both working on Michigan Avenue in the same building, they rode the elevator together for months sharing sweet glances at each other. One day, Pete recalls, after being out the night before and not feeling so great, he finds himself in the elevator with his crush and totally unable to think of anything witty or charming to say. And Tanya recalls Pete looking at her but not saying anything, so she decided finally to say something totally unoriginal (and that's her words) like "so, what's on the 22nd floor?" Well, that moment began the story of Tanya + Pete.
They were dating for about a year and a half when Pete proposed. Tanya had been at the gym that morning. When she met him back at their apartment, she was in total shock! Pete planned a scavenger hunt with notes that led from clue to clue, even tying one around their puppy, Spencer. The final note leading to the actual proposal was placed at the elevator to commemorate the day they actually first spoke. And Bob was there to cover the "YES! I will marry you". Pete then surprised Tanya with an amazing engagement party which he had been planning for months. Tanya's family came in from Ohio and their friends from all over the country were there to help celebrate their love!!! Bob photographed their engagement session and then came their wedding day at the gorgeous Peninsula hotel in Chicago. They spent 9 months planning the wedding themselves; it was harder than they thought but it was worth every single effort. Lisa Zimbler, was their "Day Of" consultant and she did a wonderful job at keeping the day running smoothly. Thank you Lisa! She is such a joy to work alongside. We can't say thank you enough to our amazingly talented friend, Christine Bentley, who assisted Bob. Her images are mixed throughout and wow.... they are fantastic. Bob and I love you Christine! Tanya and Pete, thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey together, from the proposal, engagement session, to your wedding day! We adore you both and think you're FABULICIOUS!!! Much, much love! ~ Dawn and Bob -------------------------------- I love this photo collage above. The sweet details are always my favorite. The picture frame is holding old photos of Tanya's grandparents. And the purse was given to her by her mom who carried it on her wedding day 37 years ago.... makes me want to cry! The Ethan Lord rings are stunning. Pete's wedding gift to Tanya was her Bochic earrings. What a guy! And Tanya wanted her each of her bridesmaids to have a unique piece of jewelry from Cocotay. She worked with the owner, Courtney Blaisdell, to come up with some beautiful pieces. I think they were spectacular! |

We are so happy to share the wedding of LaLa Vazquez and Carmelo Anthony in Grace Ormonde's exquisite Wedding Style Magazine Spring/Summer 2011 issue. This was another fabulous wedding by the fabulous party planner, Mindy Weiss. Wow, that girl knows how to plan a wedding! Stunning doesn't even come close to describe how beautiful this wedding was.... oh la la! And Ed Libby Events did the most amazing job with the decor.... can we have another oh la la?!!! It was so beautiful, my jaw litterally hit the ground when we walked into Cipriani on 42nd Street, in the heart of New York city. And we were thrilled to photograph their wedding. A special thanks to our friend, Kenny Kim, who assisted Bob. I have say they rocked this wedding!
