Sarah + Zach, Happy 1st wedding anniversary!!! We cant believe how fast this year has passed. Its been so fun reliving your wedding going through all your photos. It was so hard to narrow this down because there are so many amazing ones!
The energy between the two of you lit up the room. Bob and I particularly love one of Maya Angelous quotes "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. And there is no doubt that everyone who had the honor of being at your wedding felt the love you both share that day, and Im sure every day! You both, and your family are such a blessing to everyone who knows you. And we are so honored to have captured this day for you all. They met on their fist day of law school orientation and the rest was history! During a trip to Hope Town Harbour in the Abaco Islands, John had a plan and Whitney had no idea. After spending the day at the beach, they headed back to their cottage to get ready for dinner. John poured champagne, lit a candle, and opened the doors of the cottage to have the view of the ocean. And she thought he was just being sweet. They toasted and then he said, "Do you really want to know what we're celebrating? We're celebrating spending the rest of our lives together." as he pulled out the little blue box, got down on one knee, and said, "Will you marry me?" She was very surprised and of course answered with a yes! What a wonderful, romantic surprise!
We are so thankful to Hope Weis, Event Planner, for introducing us to Whitney and John and their families. We met Whitney first at her apartment and then I met with her mom later. They were just the nicest women and I'm always so honored when we book a wedding with wonderful people. We photographed their engagement session right away with their cute dog, Mollie, who stole the show! It's hard to believe their wedding has come and gone... and all that is left is the wedding photos we had the honor of capturing. We are blessed to have the most wonderful 2nd shooters such as, Jenn Guadrau, who shot this wedding with Bob. Thank you lovely Jenn!!! Emily and Brian your wedding was amazing and I should have blogged this sooner. There wasn't one detail missing in your wedding day. Reva Nathan and her team did an incredible job making your wedding a dream come true! The Peninsula Hotel is such a beautiful venue and oh my gosh, I loved your Vera Wang wedding gown. You looked so beautiful and the love you have for each other is undeniable. Thank you, so many thank yous, for trusting us with your wedding day memories!

This is it........ the REAL WEDDING WORKSHOP of the year, where Tiffany + Miles said "I Do" in front of 100+ friends and family at the most beautiful southern chic venue, Cedarwood Weddings in Nashville, Tennessee. I think this is the largest amount of images from any one event that I've ever posted. I hard the hardest time narrowing down the images. You can see even more on our Facebook page, right HERE.
I don't even know where to begin. This was such an incredible wedding + workshop experience. Tiffany's mom, Arline, is a photographer that attended our Vegas Love Story workshop in 2008, and assisted us with our 2nd wedding + workshop of Sarah + Brent in St. Simons Island in 2009. Arline is now a dear friend of ours and well, it's was her daughter's turn to get married. Tiffany + Miles wanted to share their wedding day and make it a dream wedding for photographers to walk away with a beautiful portfolio southern wedding. So, with that being said, we had 18 photographers sign up to shoot this wedding with Bob and learn from him. With the amazing help from, Angie Garbot, plus Arline's crew of 3 photographers, I would bet I could safely say this was the most photographed wedding in history totaling 24 photographers. You ask "how in the world does 24 photographers not get in each others way?" and "who on earth would want 18 photographers be educated on their wedding day?" well, all I can say is that we were blessed with 18 of thee most amazing attendees/photographers to shoot with and well.... only a couple who comes from a family of photographers, Ace Photography, would be this crazy!!! We all had the BEST time ever at Tiffany + Miles wedding and the images below will show you how incredible a dream southern chic wedding can be! Thank you, THANK YOU, thank you Arline, Tiffany + Miles for letting us be part of your incredible wedding day. Tiffany, you looked stunning in your Karen Hendrix Couture gown. If you're a bride reading this, you must check out Karen's work. She is an extraordinarily talented, creative, designer who is a beautiful, sweet woman and so gracious about her success. Also, a huge thank you to Karen and Linda, the owners of Historic Cedarwood Weddings who made us feel so welcomed. Their southern hospitality goes beyond any simple expectation. Their exceptional team graciously worked around all the madness and all our photographers beautifully. I dream about the day we can photograph another wedding there! Tiffany + Miles, from the bottom of our heart......... THANK YOU! You two are so meant to be together. You are crazy in love and it's so fun to see!!! This article is about our workshops, primarily our wedding workshops. We are really excited to announce that in October 2011 we will be photographing an incredible wedding for a family of photographers and they want the wedding to be a workshop for other photographers to learn how Bob shoots a wedding. We won't be opening registration for this wedding workshop until August 2011. This was an incredible day! The day after Sarah + Brent's wedding at the beautiful Ocean Lodge resort in St. Simons Island, Georgia, we took all 15+ photographers from our Real Wedding Workshop to Jeckyll Island (Georgia) where Brent proposed to Sarah and had an INCREDIBLE photo session there…........ SO FUN!

As many of you know, we had the huge honor to photograph Sarah & Brent's wedding in St. Simons Island last October and not only did we photograph their wedding, we had 15 photographers assist us. It was SO FUN!!! I want to blog about it but for certain publication reasons, I can not right now.

It seems these last couple of months have been a whirlwind. I mean they are always crazy around here but whoa... just unusually busy lately. Bob shot some amazing weddings, we did a workshop in St. Simons Island where 15 wonderful photographers photographed Sarah & Brent's wedding with Bob. I can't wait to blog that...! We've been to New York for the PhotoPlus expo and now Bob is hitting it hard in Italy with Gene Higa & Jose Villa at their workshop. Rough life, I know. Me, I get to hunker down with the kids, run the business, help with homework, and taxi the kids back and forth to Sylvan, Soccer and Taekwondo.
Tonight, I'd like to invite everyone out to a CD Release party. I know, I know... way late notice but better late than never. We had a fantastic opportunity to photograph a new up and coming band, JAMROSE. Nicole Jamrose and Mark Soljacich just released their first CD, called U-Turn. Bob took the photos and I designed the CD. You may have heard me talk about Mark Soljacich, he wrote and recorded a song called "Follow Your Dreams" for us to include in a book we designed for Forest Whitaker when he won the Oscar for the movie, The Last King of Scotland. Mark and Nicole wrote some incredible songs for their new CD. Check out their new Showit website JAMROSE and preview their song "Fall Out of Love". Hope to see you at the CD Release Party tonight!
