Vince Hart from Kehoe Designs recalls that Tracy and Chris wanted the inspiration from their wedding to come from Tracy's love of fashion, themed around a winter wonderland and the feeling of being in a beautiful glass atrium with the snow falling outside. And wouldn't you know it? It snowed all day and night creating a true magical winter wonderland in Chicago.

I've shared Tracy and Chris's engagement session with you and now it's time to share their incredible wedding! But before I do, I just have to say how incredibly blessed Bob and I are to have the most amazing clients. We are humbled beyond belief with the direction God has taken us, we take no credit for the talent we have, we know that He is working overtime through us. I hope that we can live up to one of my favorite quotes ever… "When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me'." What an incredible honor to capture this gorgeous wedding for the daughter of Robert and Joan Clifford, two very gracious and kind people.

Onto the big day! It all began as Tracy got ready at her parent's private residence. It was fun to see her with her mom and sister as she slipped into her stunning couture gown by Caroline Herrara with the help of her amazing wedding dresser, Caroline Shaw. It's one of a kind, at least, I've never seen one like this before. It is just beautiful. And her Lanvin shoes were gorgeous as well. Chris and his boys prepared for the day at the Ritz-Carlton. He wore a custom tailored tux that was a midnight blue in color and his purplish Ferragamo shoes were a perfect match. There is no doubt these two are stylish! Tracy has years of experience in both buying and selling for designers and luxury boutiques, such as Oscar de la Renta, Lanvin, Sonia Rykiel, Nicole Miller, Marissa Collections and Neiman Marcus. Crazy, I always feel like I need help in that area, and she is an expert! I can only dream to have such style!

Their reception was in the Griffin Court at the The Art Institue Chicago. It was one of the most elegant weddings we have ever worked on with Vince Hart from Kehoe Designs. He and his team are incredibly gifted and envisions things that just blow my mind. You are always in good hands with Kehoe! I'm so excited to share this wedding with you all so you can be transported to the love that was surrounding Tracy and Chris that evening! Incredible! Hats off the Gentlemen of Leisure for amazing entertainment all evening long. The night ended with an after party at the Ritz-Carlton. The theme was "Le Cirque". Who doesn't love to end the evening with mini burgers and vienna hotdogs!

A million thank yous Vince Hart from Kehoe Designs for sharing us with this amazing family.

And a lifetime of happiness to Tracy and Chris… we love you both!

Samantha from Kehoe Designs shares that the evening was immersed in a breathtaking display of bodacious blooms including Calla Lilies, Peonies, white Orchids, Gardenias, and even a few jade green Roses, every inch was tailored to perfection. The beauty amongst this design cannot go without the acclaimed inspiration of the bride’s love for fashion. With an ambiance resembling the trendy details one would see in jewels and accessories, shimmering emerald green mingled with gilded champagne gold. The bride even included a little personal flair to the evening as white Gardenias laid atop each napkin in honor of her beloved grandmother.

The cocktail hour was set up like a lounge, cabaret style, with beautiful and comfortable furniture. Hors d houvres were passed along to the guests as they mingled about admiring all the decor and celebrating the love of Tracy and Chris. A trio from Gentlemen of Leisure played cocktail style music throughout the hour. And most often recognized as one of the Champions on season two of Bravo’s “Top Chef Masters,” Chef Tony Mantuano of Spiaggia prepared the culinary experience for the evening.

Transforming the spectacular Art Institute of Chicago, thirty-five tables filled the space adorn with towering gold leaf trumpet vases and cascading white Orchids, all of which were surrounded by brilliant rock crystal votives. Other tables included stunning gold leaf deco risers with hanging Malachite stones accompanied by lush white Amaryllis and Orchids. Such pristine details continued into the beautifully illuminated scape where low Quartz vessels filled with Peonies and jade green Roses along with Lucite candlesticks provided a soft glimmer of light into the room.

The evening could not have been more magical as the bride’s dream of a Winter Wonderland wedding came true. A marvelous scene of pure white snow covered the entire city, as guests celebrated, warm inside, a love that would never end.
